Good Madness with the Gelli Plate

I've become addicted to playing with the Gelli Plate. Seriously. I have gone tnrough at least half a package of cardstock in one night and then come back another night and printed on top of what I already printed. It's so much fun experimenting with stencils, anything that makes marks, and color. Lot's of color. Carolyn Dube is also mad about Gelli Prints. She offers up some great videos on some of her ventures. Here are some of mine that I've done recently.
The last two are my favorite. The last one, the purple one, had been scraped with gesso and then dried before layering with paint and my tree stencil. And lastly, there are always tags.
I laid down as many tags on the plate as would fit and went to work, sometimes throwing down a stencil, and then turned them all over and went to work on the other side. You've got to try this if you haven't already. Yay! The weekend is coming. I get to play some more! Thanks for visiting............................jo

  3. Very interesting. I've seen other people playing with Gelli Plates but I'll have to wait until I've used up some of my other supplies before adding a Gelli Plate! LOL The tags look yummy!

  4. Great idea to do tags! I hadn't thought of that. Your prints look great. There is something utterly addicting about using the gel plate, isn't there?! I just use sketching paper, that I in turn use to make journals, use in collage, etc..
